Peanut's due date has come and gone! The Dr. will only let me go 2 weeks over, so I'm down to only a week and a half at the most! I am still feeling really good, but I can't wait to hold my baby! I feel like I'm waddling really bad now, but other people say that I'm not that bad. I never thought my belly could get this big! It's strange how unnatural it looks!! My tummy measurements have been stayed at 40 inches for the past few weeks. The heartbeat has been anywhere from 128-145. At the last appointment, Peanut danced so much during our time in the waiting room that he/she must have been asleep during the appointment because the heartbeat was 128! I'm really going to miss feeling the baby move in my stomach. I've started to notice how the baby really moves when there is music on. And anytime my belly is rubbed the baby will kick now! I wonder how he/she can feel that! So far we haven't done any of the wives tales to start me into labor, so maybe in a week we will try some of those if Peanut hasn't shown up!
We finally have the baby's room ready! We have the diapers ready to go and clothes washed! We have the bassinet set up in our room and a swing in the living room. Now we just need the baby to use it all! Not finding out the sex has saved us a lot of money though because we haven't been able to go shopping for clothes! We did have a couple of days of shopping where we bought some clothes for the baby! We just couldn't resist any longer! Of course we may have to take some of them back depending on if Peanut is a boy or girl, but now our baby has some cute new outfits to wear! A lot of friends have said they are waiting for Peanut to be born so they can buy cute clothes, so I am not worried about the baby ever going naked!! We think we are prepared for the baby to come, so we shall see what we have forgotten!
